Lighting with Halogen Par BulbsHalogen Par bulbs have a reflector optical lighting system with a thicker pressed glass construction in either clear or frosted lenses. They are similar to reflector bulbs but have a more controlled lens. This bulbs come in interior or exterior models, with a wide variety of sizes, wattages and beam spreads. Par bulbs are well suited for higher level illumination for accent and tasks. Giving a brighter beam in tracks systems and in standard 5" or 6" 120 volt recessed downlighting. Halogen bulbs have a whiter, crisper 3000 degree color. They are more efficient than standard incandescent bulbs, producing 50% more light per wattages consumed.
